Portfolio Management Troubleshooting for Internet Explorer 6 |
|
If you are using Internet Explorer 6, have logged into Portfolio Management and find that it is not working, then you will need to adjust your browser settings.
If Portfolio Management is not working you will see the screen as shown below.
Your screen will have lots of red crosses where images should be and the main links to add Investments, Pensions, Cash etc.. will not work, this is the first screen you will get to after you have logged in. The problem is caused by your browser not accepting certain types of cookies.

After double clicking on the eye a small panel should appear called "Privacy Report" (shown below). This contains a site list; you may have more than one site listed.
Highlight the site named: "https://webfund5.finexpretel.com/bosis2/PFCollect.wsp" and then click on the button that says "Summary".

After you have clicked the "Summary" button another screen will appear (shown to the right). This will show three options. Select "Always allow this site to use cookies" and then press OK.
You will then need to press the "close" button on the "Privacy Report" screen and close down the browser. After you have closed the browser you can restart the browser and log back in to portfolio management. You should find that it now works properly.
